Balandra

Just outside La Paz, Balandra is the famous “desert-meets-turquoise” bay—shallow water, bright sand, and views that feel straight-up unreal in person. It’s a protected natural area, so showing up with a plan makes the day way smoother.

Access + timing

Entry is controlled by two daily time blocks: 8:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00, with a maximum capacity of 450 visitors per block—so plan ahead and arrive early on busy dates.
